St. Paul Engagement ~ Kimberly + Selah

I love my old book club gals. So when Kimberly and Selah approached me to photograph their wedding in September I was thrilled! It’s so fun when you know the bride and groom – especially when they’re as nice and fun as these two. Kimberly and Selah are so cute. They are so down-to-earth and friendly. They also love to joke around… which I love! We ventured into an antique shop (which I will post more photos of later…), around the Mississippi River area and ended at W.A. Frost for some beers. They did such a fab job smiling away – and the jokesters that they are – even being romantic!!

Kimberly + Selah – I had a blast hanging out with you for photos yesterday. It was fun to catch up and I am so proud of you for going vegan too!! I hope you love this sneak peek and I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding day!

Wisconsin Engagement ~ Danielle + Caleb

This weekend I took a quick trip home to the depths of Wisconsin for an engagement shoot with Danielle + Caleb. We were so lucky to have Caleb’s beautiful farm to journey around for photos. I could wander around a farm all day long shooting photos. So fun! (And I secretly love the little sounds of chickens walking around and cows mooing.) On top of our amazing surroundings, photographing Danielle + Caleb was icing on the cake! These two are so, so cute and down-to-earth. They were shy about being in front of the camera, but quickly warmed up and have no worries! And the best part… they will walk through hay, old apples, and grassy fields with no hesitation. Love it!

Danielle + Caleb ~ I had so much fun spending the evening with you at the farm! You two are so cute and will do fab on your big day! I hope you love the sneak peek!! Can’t wait to be a part of your day!

Minneapolis Engagement ~ Tiffany + Dane

I love these two! They are so happy and down-to-earth. Tiffany and Dane were so comfortable and loving right from the start… and they love to goof around! It was hilarious! As we trekked around our fav neighborhood in NE, we stopped at all the amazing places there are to snap some photos. We ended the day at 331 where Tiffany and Dane told me all about their travels. I had requested their knowledge on Spain and Portugal as I’m going there in May. (Yay!!) Tiffany and Dane lived in Spain for a year and the best part of it all was Tiffany’s organization system for everywhere they’ve been. She had tickets, maps, notes, photos and more all neatly organized into recipe size stacks. It was amazing! lol

Keep an eye out for part deux! We’re having a picnic in Stillwater!

St. Paul Engagement ~ Laura + Dan

It doesn’t get much better than having sunshiny, tropical-like weather for the first engagement session of the season! Laura and Dan are so funny and so laid back. From the getting their feet wet in the cold water to sitting in a tree, these two were up for anything and it was great to get to know them a little bit more. I am so thrilled to be a part of their big day in August! I can tell there will be a lot of laughing.

Winter Fashion + Fun ~ Minneapolis Portrait Photographer

It’s time to get out and enjoy the weather! Wait… enjoy the weather on days 45 degrees and above, that is. Yesterday was so beautiful! Thank goodness my bestie, Rachel, is willing to get all crazy dressed up and pose for me in the cold. We headed over to Lake Calhoun to shoot on the ice. It was so fun and a great way to enjoy the sunshine! Rachel – thank you for freezing your fingers off and being so darn fashionable!! And a quick shout-out to her boyfriend, Erik, for being our assistant and putting up with two loud ladies talking about hair and makeup.

I love these two! Christy and Jon are amazing. They are super down-to-earth and so sweet. These two had so much fun on their wedding day and were nothing but smiles. We had a blast walking around St. Paul with the wedding party, capturing their day. Christy and Jon have great friends and families and are sure to live a long, long, happy life together!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Justin for his senior photos. This senior is quiet and laid back. I had him up next to the falls, crawling up hills, in a less-than-desirable neighborhood… and he was totally up for all of it! I have a feeling he’ll make it far in life!

Jessie + Tony are the sweetest!! They are so fun-loving and easy-going. Before seeing each other, they were both beyond excited to see each other for the first time on their special day.
